Unrivalled and Ease of Use

The backlit switches on a JCB 531-70 Loadall telehandler are crystal clear, even in the dark. And new instruments and a hi-res TFT screen form an intuitive automotive-style layout. To create the perfect driving position, opt for the easily adjustable tilting telescopic steering column.

A 7-speed fan heater creates the most comfortable, productive operator environment on board this telescopic handler.

Visibility is excellent, courtesy of direct glazing, a large roof screen and standard-fit tinted cab glass.

Roof bars are strategically placed for maximum visibility when placing at height. Choose cab, front and rear lights for ultimate visibility.

There are new single lever controls fitted to our latest Loadall range, including the 531-70. This innovation reduces operator fatigue by 8%, raising concentration levels and site safety.

Unrivalled Cost of Ownership

An LED screen on the JCB 531-70 Loadall’s dash provides useful information for efficient running, like fuel remaining, fuel used since last fill, current average fuel consumption, DEF level and any current warnings.

The 63kW/85hp engine variant fitted to this telehandler will remain free of after-treatment and DEF until 2019. This is achieved by the unique ability to perfectly match all JCB built components for unbeatable performance and efficiency.

JCB telescopic handlers enjoy proven demand supported by legendary productivity and build quality, ensuring high residuals the world over. EcoMAX can be adapted to run on lower-grade fuels, making Construction Loadalls easily resalable across different territories, boosting residuals further still.

Unrivalled Productivity

Class-leading JCB hydraulics produce the fastest cycle times, ensuring the most efficient lifting, extending and pushing.

The JCB 531-70 Construction Loadall telehandler boasts excellent manoeuvrability and fast travel times across site, courtesy of a compact wheelbase and large steering lock angles.

With 4WD as standard, you get plenty of traction and performance even in soft, muddy areas. 2WD can be selected to minimise tyre wear and fuel use.

The JCB EcoMAX  engine delivers 85hp (63kW) of power and 400Nm of torque. This is produced at just 1300 rpm, offering you optimum response, as well as improved cycle times and tractive effort.

JCB’s optional Smoothride System (SRS) improves load retention and increases operator comfort (and therefore productivity) when travelling at speed on the road or on uneven fields. You can now also engage SRS manually with the boom in any position.

Multi-function single lever servo control provides fast and accurate load placement. Controlling your 531-70 Loadall’s direction is easy too, with just a flick of a switch.

The 63kW (85hp) and 74kW (100hp) EcoMAX engine options are fitted with a variable speed cooling fan that automatically reacts to ambient temperature, adjusting fan speed for maximum economy and minimum noise.

An optional reversing fan can clear dust and debris from your telescopic handler’s cooling system to maintain performance.

UNRIVALLED COST OF OWNERSHIP

A JCB CONSTRUCTION LOADALL ISN’T JUST EFFICIENT TO USE – IT’S HUGELY EFFICIENT TO OWN AND OPERATE TOO. WE’VE DESIGNED THESE MACHINES TO GIVE YOU THE MAXIMUM POSSIBLE RETURN ON YOUR INVESTMENT.

  • JCB’s own telematics and fleet management system, LiveLink, allows maximum uptime on your machine fleet. Along with tracking machine hours, LiveLink enables you to monitor fuel consumption, service and maintenance alerts. LiveLink also allows you to monitor your DPF regeneration.
  • LiveLink also provides performance reports on idle time, location, machine health, error codes for diagnostics, engine utilisation by power band, safety alerts, and fuel consumption.

UNRIVALLED PRODUCTIVITY

CLASS-LEADING JCB HYDRAULICS PRODUCE FAST CYCLE TIMES, ENSURING THE MOST EFFICIENT LIFTING, EXTENDING AND PUSHING.

  • A JCB Construction Loadall is extremely manoeuvrable; the compact wheelbase, large steering lock angles and 3 steer modes save valuable time on site.
  • The New Stage V DieselMAX engine produces its power and torque at low engine speeds, which makes it highly responsive to operate.
  • The latest Stage V legislation compliant 55kW (75HP) engine from JCB offers a combined DPF/ DOC after treatment package achieving Stage V emissions levels without the need for DEF injection, minimising the impact on machine service and operation.

UNRIVALLED STRENGTH AND DURABILITY

THE 531-70 IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE YOU WITH MAXIMUM UPTIME. OUR MACHINES ARE AS TOUGH AS POSSIBLE, USING TOP QUALITY COMPONENTS AND INNOVATIVE MANUFACTURING PROCESSES.

  • The new Construction Loadall range’s stringent testing programme has included prolonged high stress loading of the chassis, boom and other key components.
  • We’ve fitted a tough inverted U-shaped boom pressing with fully welded closing plates. For extra strength, we’ve reduced the number of joints and stress points across our integrated boom nose and one-piece closing plate.
  • The boom on a Construction Loadall is mounted low in the one-piece fully welded chassis, providing a very rigid structure and maximum over-the shoulder visibility.

UNRIVALLED SAFETY AND SECURITY

ON-SITE SAFETY IS OF PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE, SO THE JCB 531-70 CONSTRUCTION LOADALL HAS A WEALTH OF FEATURES DESIGNED TO PROTECT THEMSELVES, THEIR OPERATORS AND ANY BYSTANDERS.

  • Our patented load control system and sway frames allows for a safer and more stable load placement, whilst hose burst check valves protect the driver and bystanders in the event of hose failure.
  • To protect fellow workers on the job site, a new reversing camera and pulse radar options are now available on selected models.
  • The low boom profile and pivot point provide unrivalled rearward visibility to obstacles and on site traffic. A full set of side and rear-view mirrors enhance all-round visibility and safety compliance.
