Richard Fox-Marrs is president and chief executive officer of JCB Inc., responsible for JCB operations in North America, including sales and support for the construction, agricultural, rental, government and defense industries. Additionally, Fox-Marrs leads production at JCB North America Headquarters, where the company manufactures telescopic handlers, mini excavators, skid steer and compact track loaders, and construction machines for the U.S. military and its allies.
Fox-Marrs is a 27-year veteran of JCB. Prior to his current appointment, he served as JCB North America’s president of Agriculture. His previous positions included managing director of the Loadall telescopic handler business unit and managing director of JCB’s global Agricultural division. Fox-Marrs’ work in the North American market dates back to 2001 when he was responsible for establishing JCB Agriculture in North America.
Fox-Marrs currently serves on the board of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and has served on the Farm Equipment Council in the UK and was chairman of the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) Farm Equipment Council in 2013-2014. He also served as a board member for AEA and represented the UK on the European Committee of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Associations Board.
In 2008, Patterson accepted the position of chairman and CEO of JCB Inc., stepping down as worldwide CEO to focus his attention on growing market share in North America and underscoring the company’s commitment to the North American market. Patterson was appointed deputy chairman of JCB worldwide in September of 2009 while also maintaining his responsibilities as chairman and CEO of JCB Inc.
In 2010, Patterson oversaw an extensive product development program to deliver a new generation of skid steer loaders from JCB North America Headquarters in Savannah, Georgia. These machines were the first in company history to be designed, engineered and manufactured outside of the United Kingdom for global distribution.
In June of 2011, Patterson was appointed as a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II awarded the CBE honor to Mr. Patterson in recognition of his services to British business development worldwide.
In December, 2013, Patterson retired as CEO of JCB North America, deputy chairman of JCB Group and deputy chairman of JCB worldwide. He does, however, remain a valuable part of JCB as chairman of the board of the JCB USA Companies and as director of the JCB Group. Patterson also serves on the board of directors for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers’ (AEM) and was elected as the 2013 Construction Equipment Chair. He is a member of the Georgia Institute of Technology Advisory Board in Atlanta and is a former president of the Federation of Manufacturers of Construction Equipment and Cranes (FMCEC).
Andrea Whelan is vice president of Direct Sales and Service and is responsible for developing and growing JCB’s direct accounts business across North America. Whelan's role includes implementing sales and service strategies to strengthen JCB's partnerships with our key strategic customers. Since joining JCB in 2003, Whelan has held positions of increasing seniority, including inside sales representative, regional account manager and general manager of Direct Sales.
Prior to joining JCB, Whelan worked in advertising, sales and marketing roles within the industrial manufacturing space.
Whelan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Georgia Southern University. Whelan serves on the board of Calvary Day School and is a member of Women United and NPH USA.
Christian Baillie joined JCB in May of 2016 as the vice president of Construction Equipment Dealer Sales to deliver the construction equipment goals set for the North American dealer network. He leads the construction equipment sales team in creating and delivering the strategic initiatives necessary to attain the growth goals for North America.
Baillie has more than 19 years of industry experience on the dealership and OEM sides of the business. Previously, he held several senior director-level positions in sales, marketing and product development, and senior international roles in Europe and Asia. Baillie is a graduate of Muhlenberg College with a B.A. in International Business and Political Science.
Over his 18-year career with JCB, Chris Giorgianni has served in several roles leading up to his current position as Vice President of Government & Defense, Product and Marketing. Giorgianni began his career with JCB as a Product Specialist for Backhoe Loaders in 2003. Shortly after, he became JCB’s first American employee to be based at the company’s global headquarters, serving as Worldwide Product Manager for Backhoe Loaders and as Regional Manager for Northern Europe.
Keith Hoskins has a long and distinguished career with JCB. Born and educated to degree level in the United Kingdom, Keith has now accumulated more than 30 years of experience in the Construction and Agricultural Equipment industry, with over 23 years as an integral member of JCB’s team.
In 2014, Marcus Marchesin joined the JCB team at JCB Brazil as the Operations Director, responsible for production, quality, and product and manufacturing engineering. He currently serves as vice president of Manufacturing Operations at JCB North America, spearheading investment strategies, production management, Supply Chain, New Product Introduction, and quality performance. During his tenure at JCB, he has had the opportunity to visit JCB plants in the UK, USA, Brazil, Spain, Germany, Italy, Argentina, India, and Saudi Arabia.
Phillip Shaw is Vice President of Finance for JCB North America. In this role, he leads financial planning, financing strategies, analysis, forecasting and budget management, and enforces accounting and reporting procedures for JCB operations in the United States and Canada.
Since joining JCB in 2005, Shaw has held several key roles in both the UK and the US. He is currently in his second stint in North America, having previously been a member of the US team from 2006 to 2010.
Shaw is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and serves as Treasurer for The Lady Bamford Center Board of Advisors.
Roy Kerr is vice president Product Support at JCB North America. In this role, he is responsible for the company's service and parts operations in the United States and Canada.
Since joining JCB in 1985, Kerr has held several key roles within JCB Sales and Service in the U.K., Australasia, Asia Pacific, Latin America, the Caribbean and China. Immediately prior to his current position, he was general manager for JCB Global Customer Support.
Tonya Poole joined JCB in 2012 and currently serves as the vice president of Human Resources for JCB North America with responsibility for organizational development, talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, compliance and staffing. Additionally, Poole oversaw the development of the JCB Manufacturing Apprenticeship Program, which has received regional and state accolades.
Prior to joining JCB, she served in senior Human Resource roles within corporate law firms in Atlanta. Poole currently serves on several boards in the Savannah area, including the Savannah Technical Institute, the Woodville Tompkins Advisory Board, the Jenkins High School Advisory Board, the SEDA Workforce in Action Committee and the MLET – Maritime Logistics Education Task Force.
Poole earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from the University of Memphis and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
